Nov.30: Mock Trail - John Ryan Turner Case - Students will take on roles and will re-enact this case
Dec.1: Finish trail-jury will deliver verdict- Students will be introduced to Youth & Crime Unit- create a youth profile & a crime will be committed and then look at repercussions- these will be evaluated
Dec.2: Guest Speaker - Alysha Campbell -stabbed while working as security guard in the mall by young offender- she shares her experiences.

Dec.3: Create a Youth in a Crime-work in pairs and describe a youth involved in a crime -
Dec.4: Continue with Create a Youth in Crime activity - students must describe youth, crime committed , provide all pertinent details of case

Nov.23: Using Mac Computers do research on the John Ryan Turner case- once information is collected students will be doing a mock trial of this case.
Nov.24: Continue research JR Turner case- select roles for the trial
Nov.25: Watch video on John Ryan Turner Case - students should be preparing statements for trial, gathering evidence & setting up jury roles, etc.
Nov.26: Begin Trial -opening statements, begin calling witnesses, etc.
Nov.27: Grade 12 meeting scheduled -class will be interrupted -remaining time continue with trial -JR Turner case
